McLean Avenue Merchants Association

All around the world, Yonkers is often synonymous with McLean Avenue. This business district is well known for the strong community that patrons it. The McLean Avenue Merchants Association was founded in 2011 the celebrate the strength of the neighborhood and its many small businesses. With over 50 members, MAMA was instrumental in successfully bringing over the Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade to this side of town, and bringing positive development and much needed attention from local government. MAMA’s major event is the Meet Me on McLean Fall Festival, held annually with over 40,000 attendees, but also hosts the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony and the Christmass Tree Lighting Ceremony at Conor Park. McLean Merchants strives to promote its members, and keep the neighborhood strong and safe through advocacy and civic involvement in the local government.
